Två internationella besök – Frankrike och Estland på samma vecka

Two international visits – France and Estonia in the same week

This week has truly shown how far our dogs and our small business reach. We've had guests from both France and Estonia, and even though they came from completely different places and with different expectations, both encounters turned out to be as warm and genuine as I love them to be.

The visit from France – calm, nature, and a tranquil walk

Our French guests sought something authentic and peaceful, far from the tourist trails. It turned into a husky hike where the dogs walked with their calm, focused demeanor and nature provided just the right atmosphere. We finished by the fire with coffee and conversations that flowed as naturally as they do when you're in the forest together.

The visit from Estonia – a nature guide with an eye for detail

Our Estonian guests came with a completely different energy, and one of them worked as a nature guide. It was immediately apparent. The curiosity, the questions, the interest in the vegetation along the path — it was all there.

They were particularly fascinated by the large aspens we passed. Those old, tall trees that many walk past without thinking about them, but which a nature guide immediately notices: the texture of the bark, the light filtering through the crown, how they stand like silent guardians along the trail.

It became a trip filled with conversations about nature, ecology, the dogs' work, and life here in Dalarna. I love those kinds of encounters — when guests not only want to experience, but also to understand.

"for those who want to experience more of the dogs, we also offer Kennel visits"

Two countries, two styles – but the same core

Whether guests come for tranquility or curiosity, it is always the same thing that unites them: a love for nature, respect for the dogs, and a desire to experience something authentic.

That's exactly what Måsek's is all about.
