En vardag hos oss: storstädning, högtryckstvätt och förberedelser inför Mys valpar

An ordinary day for us: deep cleaning, power washing, and preparing for Mys' puppies

It's not always adventures, guests, and husky hiking here with us. Some days are about something entirely different — taking care of the facility, the dogs, and the pack. Today is one such day.

We've started a thorough spring cleaning, and the entire farm is filled with the sound of the pressure washer. Dog runs, pathways, walls — everything gets a proper cleaning. It's heavy, wet, and quite dirty work… but it's also one of the most important parts of our daily life.

For us, it's about safety, cleanliness, and care. This is how we want it to be — and this is how we want our guests to experience us when they come here. If you want to read more about who we are and how we work, feel free to visit our page About us.

Preparations for Mys' puppies

While we're busy cleaning, we're also rearranging the dogs. Our lovely Mys is expecting puppies, and she will get her own dog run where she can have peace and quiet when the time comes. During the actual whelping and the first few weeks, Mys will stay with us indoors with her puppies, but then, when they move out to the pack, everything needs to be perfect for little puppies and a "mother dog".

Creating the right environment for a female dog about to whelp is important. It needs to be safe, secluded, and harmonious — and at the same time close to the pack so she feels at home.

Many who come here for a kennel visit find it exciting to see how we work with the dogs behind the scenes. This is part of it: planning, care, and always putting the dogs' well-being first.

Rearranging the pack

When a female dog is expecting puppies, the pack needs to adapt. We move things around a bit, assess which dogs get along best, and create balance within the groups. It's a puzzle — but a puzzle we love to solve.

Every dog has its personality, its energy, and its place in the pack. And when everything falls into place, there's a harmony that our guests often feel immediately when they arrive.

If you want to experience the dogs in action and feel that energy yourself, then Husky Hiking is a fantastic experience.

This is our everyday life — and we love it

It's not glamorous. It's not always fun. But it's important. And this is exactly what makes our guests give us 10 out of 10 in their reviews.

Because behind every trip, every dog encounter, and every adventure are days like this: work, care, planning, and love for the dogs.

And when Mys' puppies finally arrive… then all of this will be worth it.
