It's a special time for us right now. The puppies are getting big enough that they will soon move out to their own little dog run, where they'll feel grass under their paws for the first time and discover the world outside the whelping box. It's always so wonderful to see – that mix of curiosity, courage, and small clumsy steps that become a little steadier each day.
And amidst all this, there's a feeling that's hard to describe: knowing that some of these little ones will become our future race dogs.
There's something truly special about driving a dog team where every dog was bred right here with us. You've followed them from their first breath, their first crawl, the first time they open their eyes – all the way to the day they stand in the team, ready to run.
I often think about the season when Sisu and Zac made their debut. Two young dogs, full of energy and will. In their third race, they both won World Championship gold, alongside slightly older dogs that were also bred here with us. That feeling… it’s indescribable. It’s pride, joy, gratitude, and pure love for the dogs in one big jumble.
And that's precisely what makes our business so unique.
Here, our guests don't just get to meet the dogs – they get to drive a dog scooter, husky hike, and sometimes even ride with World Champion race dogs. Our race dogs are the strong foundation of everything we do. They are reliable, experienced, eager to work, and love meeting people.
So, when the puppies move out soon, the next chapter begins. Small paws that grow big. Play that turns into training. Curiosity that becomes focus. And perhaps – in a few years – another dog standing at the starting line, doing something absolutely amazing.
It’s a journey we never tire of. And it’s a journey we are proud to share with our guests.
