Now that Liberty, Indie, and Buck have moved to their new homes, the daily rhythm here at the farm has changed. It always gets a bit quieter when some puppies leave, but it also opens up for something nice: more time for individual training of the little ones who remain.
Cody and Bliz have now had their own short walks, where they get to practice the very first commands – sit, heel, and perhaps a small trick when they are extra energetic and curious. It's a cozy phase, seeing how quickly they absorb new things and how proud they become when they understand what you ask of them.
Mama Mys has also changed. The first day after three puppies moved, she was a little down, almost as if she was looking for them. But now she has stepped into a new role. She is incredibly devoted to the remaining puppies, and when they are out in the enclosure, she displays playful behavior that is wonderful to see. She zips around, invites them to play, and the puppies follow her with their whole bodies full of energy. It’s so clear that she is helping them further in their development.
At the same time, the weekend is approaching, and we will be closing the business for a few days. We are going to a camp with TEAM Sweden, which we are very much looking forward to. It will be a time for training, camaraderie, inspiration, and the opportunity to test-drive the track where the European Championship will be held. It is always special to meet all the wonderful people on the team and feel that shared drive.
