There's a moment Pär always notices when guests arrive. It's that initial instant when everything is new — a little curious, a little nervous, a little excited. You see it in how they walk, how they look at the dogs, how they breathe a little faster than usual.
But then something happens. Always. Every single time.
When the guests reach the campfire where Pär meets them again, everything has fallen away.

The dogs have already done their part during the Husky-Hiking. They've opened people's hearts in that way only dogs can — without words, without effort, just by being themselves.
And Pär meets people as if they were his best friends. Happy. Calm. Secure. Completely absorbed in the moment and by the dogs who accompanied them through the forest.
It's one of the most beautiful things about our work. To see how nature and the dogs together transform people in just a few minutes.
Yesterday, we had two young guests who experienced just that. They were lucky — they were the only ones who had booked, and when the group is small, you can sometimes do as you please. I don't need to keep a large group together, so we can follow the moment and the dogs.
And these two... they started running with the dogs. Not because it was an activity, not because it was in the program — but because it felt right. The dogs loved it. The guests loved it. It turned into their own little race up the mountain, full of laughter, energy, and pure joy.
These are the moments that make our days. When guests let go of everything and are just here — with the dogs, with nature, with themselves.
And when they go home later, it's always the same: They arrived as strangers. They leave as friends.
