Some days at Måsek's have a special glow. Thursday was one such day – a day that began with a meeting full of laughter and creative energy, and ended with a moment I will remember for a long time.
13:00 – FAM trip that clicked immediately
In the middle of the day, we had two creative guests visit us, who work with strong brands and visual expression. Luxury Travel Sweden and their companion Linda Vagnelid. It was anything but a formal meeting – we laughed a lot, the conversations flowed easily, and we clicked immediately. It’s such a special feeling when you meet people who are both professional and yet so warm and easy to talk to. We were genuinely happy to meet them, and it provided fantastic energy for the rest of the day.
19:00 – An international encounter that touched deeply
In the evening, two international guests arrived for a Husky Hiking experience. One joined the tour, while the other – who had been afraid of dogs for many years – stayed in their campervan. We invited her up for fika at the top, mostly so she could be part of the moment.
And something none of us could have foreseen happened there.
She was drawn, almost by a gentle force, to Freja. First cautiously. Then a little closer. And before the evening was over, she was sitting with her hands in the fur of both Freja and Flip, tears in her eyes and an expression of pure joy.
It's moments like these that remind me why I love this work. To see a person overcome something that felt big and difficult – and that the dogs make it possible, without words, without demands, just by being themselves.
