There's something lovely about these first few days. The puppies continue to gain weight exactly as they should, and Mys is a secure, stable mother who keeps them close and calm. We weigh them every day, and it's so enjoyable to see how quickly the little ones develop. There's a calm, soft rhythm in the house right now – just as it should be.
At the same time, we've had slightly cooler weather here in Dalarna, which the dogs love. When the temperature drops, we always take the opportunity to go carting, and we did so again today. There's something about that feeling when the wheels are rolling and the dogs are working in sync – you notice how much they enjoy stretching out and using their bodies properly. A nice contrast to the quiet puppy time indoors with Mys.
